PRICING
At Stay Safe Driving we are committed to providing our students with an economical, yet comprehensive driving lessons. The number of driving lessons required are dependent on the individual students abilities.
- 1 hour Lesson - $80
- Book a package of 5 or more lessons - $380
3-FOR-1 LOGBOOK HOURS
Did you know you can reduce your risk of an accident by a third, just by increasing your supervised on-road experience through structured lessons?
To meet the NSW legal requirements, before you can sit the test to pass the first stage of your provisional licence, you must log a minimum of 120 hours of supervised driving, including at least 20 hours between sunset and sunrise.
At Stay Safe Driving School, each 1-hour structured driving lesson you complete counts as 3 hours of supervised driving experience.
You do not have to complete a learner logbook if you:
- Are over 25 years of age
- Previously held a driver's licence (with the exception of a learner's licence)
- Are a licenced overseas driver, who is not a learner driver
- Have been granted an exemption by Roads and Maritime Services

LOGBOOK MONITORING
The logbook monitoring training system is a series of driving evaluations completed under the guidance and training of Stay Safe Driving School instructor, Ray Eason.
The benefits of learning using the logbook monitoring system include the following:
- It's a simpler method to learn how to drive, as you have more one-on-one contact with professional driving instructor.
- Previously held a driver's licence (with the exception of a learner's licence)
- It is ideal for nervous drivers who are overwhelmed by the process of learning to drive. This is because the driving is broken down into achievable tasks.
- You will master your driving skills in a variety of different driving scenarios e.g parallel parking, motorway driving

REFRESHER DRIVING COURSE

AGED TEST REFRESHER & PREPARATION
Even if you have a clean licence, you are required by NSW law to undergo a senior driving assessment once you turn 85 or switch to a modified licence which can severely restrict your independence.
At our Northern Rivers Driving School, it is our goal to see you keep your licence and your freedom. We are able to assess your skills and prepare you for the practical driving assessment.
PREPARATION FOR THE P1 DRIVING TEST
Learning to drive can be a nerve-wracking, but exhilarating step towards gaining more independence. Before you can drive unsupervised you must pass the practical test.
To be eligible to sit the first stage of your provisional licence, you must have held your learner's licence for a minimum of 1 year and have logged 120 hours driving experience.
At Stay Safe Driving School, we'll equip you with all the driving skills you need to successfully pass your P1 licence.
If it's your first lesson with us, our driving instructor will assess your skill level and focus on the areas you need to concentrate on. You can book as many lessons as you like to ensure you have the confidence to pass your driving test.

OVERSEAS LICENCE CONVERSION
If you have recently moved to Australia, but feel confused by all the different road rules, the best thing you can do for yourself is to book a few driving lessons. Build up your confidence before you navigate the roads.
We can assist overseas licences holders obtain a NSW licence by:
- Educating drivers on the skills and driving techniques required to pass the test
- Equipping students with the skills and confidence to drive on the left side of the road
- Teaching all road rules
Overseas licence holders must have held a licence for more than 3 years and pass the RMS practical driving test before they will gain a full NSW licence. Drivers who have held their overseas licence for less than 3 years and pass the practical driving test will be issued with a P1 or P2 provisional licence.
